Great-sounding recording of a band to watch!
OK, it's August 2009 and I'm listening to this show from March 2007 and wondering why the hell The Dedringers haven't "broken" on the national scene. They are a great band, with great songs. They are "the real deal."
I saw them in Tucson at the Club Congress when they opened for James McMurtry. Their set was awesome and pretty much blew McMurtry away. I bought a CD and got the guys to sign it and told them, "You're going places."
Well, I thought that then and I still think it now. These guys are great. This is a nice recording that just doesn't quite fit on one CD. If you delete the opening track, it'll fit. I put it on my iPod, so I can hear the whole show, but I did burn to CD (minus track 1) so I could listen to it in my Jeep, which doesn't have an mp3 input.
Download this! The audio quality is good and the guys are one of the great undiscovered bands that hopefully will be discovered someday!
